Rules for 2009

1) Each team must purchase 3 drivers.

2) Open bidding 1.00 credit increments.

3) Names will be drawn from a hat.

4) Race team “buy in” is 125 credits.

5) This “buy in” will give you 100 bidding credits.

6) The team who finished last in the previous year will receive an extra 10 credits for the auction (110 credits).
6-a) If your team finishes last and splits up, the extra $10 also splits up.

7) The winning team will be the team with the most NASCAR points.
7-a) Points stay with THE CAR NUMBER.
7-b) Points earned stay with the team.
7-c) In 2006 individual race results and total results did not always match.
7-d) The TOTAL for your 3 drivers is the final number.
7-e) THE DRIVERS YOU BOUGHT ARE FOR THE FIRST 26 RACES. THE TOP SIX TEAMS WILL THEN EACH ENTER THE CHASE WITH TWO DRIVERS.
7-f) How drivers are awarded to each team for the CHASE
First place team will get drivers placing 1st & 7th
Second place team will get drivers placing 2nd & 8th
Third place team will get drivers placing 3rd & 9th
Forth place team will get drivers placing 4th & 10th
Fifth place team will get drivers placing 5th and 11th
Sixth place team will get drivers placing 6th and 12th
Teams placing after 6th place are out for the season.

8) If your driver loses his ride, you are entitled to a new driver.
8-a) This will be your driver from this point forward.8-b) Even if the one you purchased returns later in the season.
8-c) Other than a driver being fired or dying, there are no transactions or driver trading in this league.
8-d) If your driver is fired or dies, there is no transaction fee for selecting your new driver.
8-e) You have free pick of remaining drivers.
8-f) If a transaction needs to be made, it must be 24 hours before the next scheduled race.Contact: Scott Howard. scottsigns@hotmail.com or by phone, not posting my phone number on here.

9) At the end of the season, your entire team is released and you must attend the auction to bid / buy 3 new drivers.

10) Credits.
1st = 550
2nd = 300
3rd = 200
4th = 100
Leader after 26 = 100

11) When Dale Sr. died, the number was taken off the track.If your driver is seriously injured you would keep the number in a case like Dale Sr. (3) with a death the number may change, you would keep the car / team. In that case it was Harvick (29).If your driver loses points due to a penalty by NASCAR, so do you (your team).If a transaction needs to be made, it must be 24 hours before the next scheduled race.Good Luck Everyone.
